The name "W" is due to the union of the points of interest forming a perfect W through the paths that surround the Macizo del Paine. The main attractions of Circuit W are:   

* Base Torres del Paine: it is the most famous trek in the Torres del Paine National Park, in which after ascending approximately 4 hours through the Ascencio River Valley and ancient lenga forests, you reach the "Mirador Base Torres" with an impressive view of the 3 towers, its hanging glacier and lagoon.  * Valle del Francés: located in the heart of the Circuit. After an intense trekking and ascent, you will reach one of the most impressive and rarely visited places in the National Park. The view of the amphitheater formed by a series of mountains and granite hills is absolutely unbeatable!  *Glaciar Grey: trekking approach to the Mirador de Glaciar Grey, whose trail runs along the east shore of Lago Gray and the west sector of Paine Grande. Glacier Gray is one of the glaciers that is part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the third source of fresh water on the planet.
