The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in Argentina, between 47 º and 51 º south latitude, born of the South Patagonian Icefield, which is shared by Argentina and Chile. Spans the South Arm of Lake Argentino, with a front of five kilometers long and sixty meters. Baptized with that name in honor of Francisco Moreno maker Sociedad Científica Argentina, and the active explorer of the southern area of the country, is one of freshwater reserves in the world. It is one of the largest glaciers in the world and has been considered the eighth wonder of the spectacular views it offers.
